Big Indian Farm Bakery is a family run business nestled in the beautiful Indian Valley region of Floyd County, Va. The farm is owned and operated by Adrienne Davis RN and Earl White RRT. As former healthcare professionals, we have a keen appreciation for quality of life as it relates to health. Thus, in 2016 it was "good bye" to California, and "hello" Floyd County. The fresh air, rolling hills, clean water, and music was a main attraction, as well as the people of the region.

When it comes to fresh organic foods, and sustainable farming practices, Floyd County is a hit. It has a high concentration of organic farms, and people who demand "high quality clean foods". Seeing a need, we started with making fresh bread for our family and friends.  And, well, the rest is history.

Besides being former healthcare professionals, we are also semi professional players of Appalachian (oldtime) stringband music. In the few moments we have from baking, we enjoy playing tunes, teaching, or performing concerts at festivals. On the farm, we also raise chickens, Icelandic sheep, and organically grown vegetables to come.

THURSDAYS

We deliver fresh bread to our wholesale customers in Floyd on Thursdays. Find us at Harvest Moon Natural Foods, and Slaughters Super Market.

SATURDAYS

We will be set up with our full selection of goods at the Floyd and Blacksburg Farmer's markets. Get exactly what you want and preorder to pickup at the market or here at the Farm. Orders must be recieved by 3:30pm Friday afternoon.

We do not retail directly from the bakery but welcome online orders for pickup and pre-arranged visits.
